2025 marked my 5th full year being self employed, cheers to that!

As I sit to write my end of year post, it feels a bit different to previous years. This year my focus shifted more onto my own projects rather than just client work.

Some key highlights for me were mine and ’s first full year living together, finally releasing my debut album “Lethargic Dazeoholic”, playing some throwback shows with , releasing my favourite song to date, growing my YouTube channel to monetisation, completing a whole bunch of client projects and finishing up the year with an incredible trip to Thailand with the love of my life. My work/life balance has gotten a whole lot better this year and I intend to keep that in a healthy place for the new year.

Whether you’re here for my videography/editing work, my music, my random projects, or some weird blend of it all, I appreciate you! I intend to continue developing my YouTube channel and just generally enjoying the process of creating into 2026. I’ve been having a blast with it and can’t imagine that being any different as I pour even more time and energy into it. I feel like I’m living the dream out here, bring on 2026!

Hi, I’m Zak!

My journey into production work started alongside me beginning to play and write music at a young age. Initially, I pursued music and audio production over all else, getting into videography and photography soon after. Since graduating in Sound Engineering & Production at university in 2018, my passion for video, audio and photography has been my main focus.
