From my heart to my ex-beloved national team.
I heard the new Curling team in Bangkok for the Winter Asian Game 2025 in Beijing from the seniors 2 months ago. I had mixed feelings between happiness and loss.
I was the candidate of that team in 2017. I and my Chiang Mai team were ready for that position. We tried to make ourselves better, stronger, and more focused on that. I had a good suggestion from Master Suwit Raekkaow (senior figure in Chiang Mai Sports Association) that Thailand would have the first ever new and fresh-blood Curling Team. Good starts, Chiang Mai!
But whatever it happened, the plan for the new team was dissolved with no reasons. I and my friends were lost, betrayed, and broken. We tried to maintain our feelings until our master's retirement. Someone in the team decided to move away and stayed outside the country with new oppotunity but lost sometimes.
Finally, I hope that the new Thai curling team from 2024 do the best they can for this winter Asian game and so on.
After the news, We went to see the new generation in Chiang Mai Winter stadium. We realized that is not the good time anymore. We need to focus on the new way of life, businesses, and friendships from foreigners. After this post, whatever we get the chance from the circle of Thailand winter sports, we have to say, " No, thank you so much for the last lesson."
