Well, friends, the weather won this round. Our sunflower field, the one my husband worked so hard on, has taken a pretty hard hit and is no longer the dreamy sunflower setting we had hoped for.

So, I won’t be offering sunflower sessions this season. Unless, of course, you have a child, family or dog who would think a muddy adventure session sounds amazing. In that case, call me, because that could be magic in a completely different way.

Otherwise, thank you for loving this idea with us. We’re disappointed, but we’re already dreaming about what we can create next.

I had the sweetest opportunity to create headshots for the Mount Pleasant Free Public Library recently, and I just have to say, it was great meeting the people behind one of our community spaces.

Libraries are full of stories, but so are the people who welcome us, help our kids find their next favorite book, recommend resources, organize events and make the library feel like home.

These updated portraits are more than “just headshots.” They help people connect a face with the friendly service they already know and love.

Thank you to the library team for trusting me to create these for you. It was such a joy to celebrate the people who make this place so special.
