Brown was born in Jacksonville, Florida and later grew up in Greeneville, Tennessee. After attending college at East Tennessee State University he moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He then decided to pursue a career in filmmaking and attended a school for film and video production. It was at this college he discovered a passion for cinematography and lighting. Immediately while in college he

began working on several commercials and corporate videos. Soon after he got his first jobs on feature film working in the grip department. Through out his career he has always been able to work as both an electrician and a grip. His passion for filmmaking has taken him more behind the camera and he continues to work as a cinematographer and producer on many projects.

Grips locking in the slider track, Camera testing those slow‑drift moves, and everyone chasing that perfect warm glow that makes tea look alive.
Nothing fancy — just real prep work to make tomorrow’s shoot smooth.

Real‑World Lens Comparison: 4 Brands, 4 Results You Need to See
We spent the day testing four lenses from four different companies to see how they handle color, sharpness, skin tones, and highlight control. The results weren’t subtle.

One lens crushed the skin‑tone test, another had the cleanest edge‑to‑edge sharpness, one produced heavy blooming, and the last gave us the most natural color reproduction.

Vietnam gave us the views, and the gear kept up.
Shot all day with the Blackmagic powered by the Rolux battery, and this BTS shows the real grind behind the travel video—sweat, laughs, and a whole lot of running around.

🎥 BTS from today’s boxing interview setup.
We turned the gym into a mini studio—sweat in the air, gloves echoing off the bags, and a fighter who carries every round of his story right on his face. The team dialed in lighting to catch those sharp jawline shadows and the quiet moments between answers.

There’s something raw about filming fighters: no filters, no façade, just truth.
More coming as we get deeper into this project.
