This sweet family was such a joy to work with, and getting to capture these moments for them was truly an honor. From the snuggles to the smiles, every photo tells a piece of their story, and I couldn’t be happier with how this session came together.

You’ll notice that baby’s face has been covered in these previews. At Violet Hour Photography, we deeply respect the privacy of our youngest clients and their families. While we love sharing our work, we believe parents should have full control over their children’s online presence. 💜

📍Batesburg, SC

• $100 non-refundable deposit towards balance due at booking

• Time slots available from 3:00 PM–8:00 PM

This will be our very first year offering sunflower mini sessions, and we could not be more excited to bring this experience to life. These sessions are designed to capture warm summer light, genuine connection, and timeless imagery surrounded by one of the most beautiful parts of the season.

Sessions are currently planned for July 25th, pending bloom timing for the sunflower field. These are perfect opportunity for couples, families, maternity, children, or updated portraits.

Both Savannah and I will be present for every session to ensure a smooth, relaxed experience from start to finish, while also allowing for extra photos, creative perspectives, and unique angles throughout your session.

Sunflower season is incredibly brief, and availability for these sessions is very limited. We are so honored to offer these for the first time and cannot wait to create something beautiful with you.

Hey, friends + clients 🖤

Those of you who I’ve worked with over the last 9 months know that I’ve been expecting a little girl… well, she finally made her arrival this past Wednesday! And somehow, in the most fitting twist ever, she decided to be born on my birthday, which I already share with her dad, so now all THREE of us officially have the same birthday 😂

Miss Charlotte Freyja made her entrance through a beautiful home birth, and we’ve been soaking up all the newborn snuggles and chaos of navigating life with 2 little kids ever since.

With that being said, I’ll be taking a short step away from being behind the camera for the rest of May while I recover and settle into life as a family of four. Any sessions booked this month will be photographed by my amazing partner, Savannah, while I continue editing from home with a newborn on my chest and my feral toddler probably redecorating my house in ways I didn’t approve of 🫶🏻

Violet Hour Photography has grown so much over this last year, and I genuinely cannot thank you all enough for the love and support you’ve shown our little business. Every session booked, every share, every recommendation, every kind comment - it has meant the world to me and my family.

I already can’t wait to get back behind the camera in June capturing your love stories, growing families, tiny babies, wild kiddos, and all the beautifully chaotic moments in between.
