Hello MenTay Escape people. As most of you know we are in Ohio at our seasonal spot. Visiting family, friends and making preparations for the winter months. Life events have gotten in the way of our posting and to be honest we haven’t been doing much adventuring or traveling. We haven’t forgotten about all of you who follow us. Here are some pictures of what we have been up to. Hopefully those of you suffering with the wildfire smoke are getting some relief and if you are not we are thinking of you.

On my walk today there are berries, berries everywhere and blooms 🥧 🌺 I also discovered we have a nest in our Pine Tree with pretty blue eggs in it! 🐦 Nature is delivering some beautiful things lately!!! I can’t wait to make a nice cobbler and see those baby birds fluttering about. 😎

This is the reason we come “home” to Ohio for the summer. Happy Pre-K Graduation to our little guy!!! We are so proud of him. He did the entire program like a pro, right down to singing all the songs with all the choreographed moves!!! Welcome to Kindergarten!!!! 🏫 📚

We enjoyed our Sunday at Henmick Farm Brewing. They had a small farmers market and several food trucks. We stocked up on pickles and beer while enjoying a beautiful sunny day!!! It’s good to be outside again after all the rain.

Back in Ohio for 4 days and there is nothing but rain and gray skies predicted for the next 10 days. Patio furniture is still in storage, Blackstone still packed away, bikes still on the rack and I’ve worn my rain boots everyday (1st time in 7 months) and it’s only the first week ! UGH!!! There was a nice sunset last night so I ran out in the cold (55 degrees) to take this picture for everyone.
