This weathered structure isnā€™t a relic of the Old West, but a silent sentinel from the 2003 film The Missing, starring Tommy Lee Jones and Cate Blanchett. Directed by Ron Howard, the movie brought the rugged intensity of the New Mexico wilderness to the big screen, and this set remains a lonely monument to that story, slowly being reclaimed by the vast landscape of the Valle Grande.

Thereā€™s something ghostly about seeing these ā€œnot-so-historicā€ walls standing firm against the elements, a reminder of the tales told here and the rugged beauty that defines the Land of Enchantment.
