I cannot believe I'm 32 years old. It's mind-blowing how I can be 32 and still stuck in the same position I was in at 18 when I became disabled and 26 when my chronic illnesses took complete hold of my life.

I haven't been posting for a while because I've been dealing with a lot of stuff - the biggest issue was that my phone decided to get corrupted by a Google security update. I tried absolutely everything, but I had to factory reset it, which meant I lost all my photography photos (not originals, just the ones I edited, watermarked & we're ready to post)... I thought that after that week, everything would be okay... It wasn't. This was in early January.

Less than a month later (late January/early February), my phone froze, decided to restart, which forced another update, then proceeded to be stuck in a boot-loop. It would very rarely fully turn on and be useable - useable for just a few minutes. I tried for days to fix this issue. But then I caught a lucky break and was able to purchase a new phone.

I went from using a Pixel XL to a brand spanking new Pixel 3 XL. My goodness! The camera on this thing is so gorgeous. I am absolutely head over heels in love with the quality.

This photo was taken on my Pixel XL, just to let you all know. I'm slowly starting to find the photos that I wanted to share. It's going to take a long time to find them and re-edit 99% of them. So, posts will be all over the place... But I've come to terms with it. I was really angry and upset over the whole situation, but, it isn't worth the worry or stress.

Can't wait to take some amazing photos with this amazing phone (and obviously still take photos on my Nikon). But as I said, posts will be weird for a while. I'll try to post as often as possible.

Everyone knows how much I love photography and Oscar. So obviously there's going to be an abundance of photos that I take and then post of Oscar.

I've always wanted to do photo shoots with Christmas lights. Sadly, I've never had the chance to/had a subject to photograph. I've also wanted to take photos of Oscar with these lights, but again, never had the chance.

Oscar knows by now how to model and stay still for photos. So when I found him laying underneath the Christmas tree, surrounded by lights, I took the opportunity. He's so precious because he let me move the lights around him, drape them over him and move them super close to his face.

I had to cut it down to 10 photos (the rest will be on his page with a slideshow video of all of these photos) from the 15 I loved the most.

I've said this many times before, but almost each time I photograph Oscar, I take photos that become my new favorites. Since I don't have many opportunities to increase my skill, my pets are going to have countless photos taken of them.

Some photos of several different kittens that we're at the pet store. God, do I want them all. I could just play with them all day long, cuddle with them all night long, and take countless photos of them all.

I'd love a gig where I took photos for shelters and adoption centers. That would be a dream come true because I'd play with all the animals.

It's always creepy to have a cat with you, especially at your grandmother's house.... Because, in the middle of the night, you're going to see glowing eyes and freak out for a moment, before realizing it's your cat (we brought him to Chicago with us).
