Shot on Kodak Tri-X 400 black-and-white film. 🎞️🔥

Allentown Fire Academy Class 26-02 conducted their second live burn at the Emmaus Fire Department training grounds.

Shooting film also brings a different kind of fun back to photography. There’s no checking the back of the camera after every shot. You have to trust yourself that you captured what you wanted. Then you wait. That uncertainty is part of what makes finally seeing the developed images so rewarding.

I can take hundreds of photos and instantly see the results, film forces you to slow down and make every click of the shutter count.

ROPE TECHNICIAN TRAINING | BETHLEHEM STEELSTACKS

Yesterday, members of the Allentown and Bethlehem Fire Departments continued their Rope Technician training at the historic Bethlehem SteelStacks.

Chief 43, Engine 10, and Truck 1 responding to the 1200 block of N. 15th Street for an automatic fire alarm with multiple activations. Upon arrival, crews determined the alarms were caused by food left unattended on the stove.
