I still have to make the official promo shots because, well… life has been a little chaotic lately. 😂 But I wanted to go ahead and share the backdrops I’ll be using for Fall/Halloween and Christmas this year.
But more than that, I just wanted to say something to all of you. 🤎
Sometimes I don’t think I stop long enough to realize just how special it is that so many of you have trusted me with your memories.
I’ve watched babies become teenagers. I’ve watched little kids suddenly look way too grown. I’ve photographed growing families, new babies, milestones, birthdays, holidays, and all of those little seasons of life that seem ordinary while you’re living them… until one day you look back and realize how much has changed.
And somehow, I’ve been lucky enough to have a front row seat to so many of those moments.
There are families I get excited to see because I genuinely can’t wait to see how much the kids have grown. There are clients who have been coming to me for years, and somewhere along the way, you stopped feeling like “clients" and have become family and very close friends. I know your babies’ names. I remember their little personalities. I remember sessions from years ago and catch myself wondering how in the world they got so big so fast.
And then there are the people I haven’t met yet..... the families who will trust me for the very first time this year. I hope you know that I’ll never take that trust lightly either.
You could choose anyone to capture these memories. And you chose me.
Every booking, every return client, every tag, every share, every recommendation to a friend… you have helped me continue doing something that I truly love. But even more than that, you’ve trusted me with little pieces of your lives that you’ll never get back exactly as they are right now.
That means more to me than I could ever fit into a Facebook post.
So whether you’ve been with me for years, you’ve only stepped in front of my camera once, or this holiday season will be our first time meeting...thank you.
Thank you for growing with me. Thank you for supporting me. Thank you for letting me watch your families grow. And thank you for allowing me to create something that, years from now, might help you remember exactly what this little season of your life looked like. 🥹
I genuinely love and appreciate every single one of you.
Now I can’t wait to see all of my old familiar faces (and hopefully meet some new ones) this Fall and Christmas. 🤎🍂🎃🎄
