It was a Hot Night in Martha, OK
My dad and I being famous photographers, don’t usually stop for a trash burn. But the trash burn tonight was different. It was our’s.
I’ll explain.
No city has better roadside dumps than Philadelphia. So when I came back to Altus, my dad and I found one in Martha that we visited on a regular basis.
He sent me to the top of the pile for 2x4s so he could build saw horses. This was BEFORE the hip replacement.
It was our special place.
Tonight we saw smoke after we had dinner in Blair and FOUND OUR DUMP IN FLAMES! I couldn’t get a straight answer out of anyone whether it was accidental or intentional… but nonetheless, it’s gone.
You have no idea what all we have found there as well as the pictures I have taken from there.
