Off to the Southwest this morning at sunrise this rainbow appeared across the horizon along with the purple, orange, red, blue sky amidst the clouds. I thought it was interesting so I was able to get a shot of it. It was still pretty dark, so ISO was high. The shadows, the clouds reflect the rising sun in ways I don't always expect.

A Nutria that has made a flood control drainage pond its home. It was out on the bank foraging and I was able to get a few shots of it. I recognize the bottom photo could be improved with the use of AI to remove the stick across the face. It is my choice, that I don't. I prefer to stay true to the scene and my use of AI is limited to what is built into my camera software. This is a perfect example of where if I had moved a bit to my left that stick would not have been there, but when I did try and move to my left, he was able to see me, it alerted him and he disappeared. LOL. Welcome to wildlife photography. It is still a good shot, certainly not award winning, but then beauty is always in the eye of the beholder. Hard to make and overgrown rat beautiful.

Nici tearing up the water in our first outing of the season on the wakeboard. Water was just too nice to pass up. Had to get out and work to get back into the groove. As always she has the groove. Made for the water.
