Humboldt suffered a pretty horrific and devastating loss last night, and what many don’t know is Ted and Teresa Prenger’s son, Gage, helps Peace Creek Animal Sanctuary & Rescue and us out frequently when we need some hard work done. He probably doesn’t think what he does for us is a big deal, but it’s actually a very big deal because a lot of times we’re stuck treading water without him and his friends swooping in to do the heavy lifting. Being part of a community who takes care of their own means when horrible things like this happen, we surround each other and help however we can. There’s no way to make the pain of such a nightmarish loss stop for all of the children and family members of Ted and Teresa, but we would still like to be helpful by spreading the word about an account that will be opened up at Bank Iowa entitled “Ted and Teresa Prenger Memorial Fund”. Donations to help the kids cover medical and memorial costs and other bills that need paid can be dropped off at any of the following locations: Harmony Animal Hospital in Humboldt, Moffitt Animal Shelter, Peace Creek Animal Sanctuary and Rescue, the VFW in Dakota City, Mechanical Solutions, Midwest Medical, Bank Iowa or if you message us we can send someone to pick up from you. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family of Ted and Teresa in this terribly hard time 💔❤️
