One of my favorite things about photographing high school seniors is seeing how different every session can be. 📸🥰

Some come with lots of ideas. Some are a little unsure at first. Some want downtown streets, fields, graffiti, a favorite place, or something I haven’t thought of yet.

And no, smiling is not required. Serious, funny, quiet, confident, somewhere in between. It all belongs. 🙃☺️🤠🤩

I love making people feel comfortable and at ease when we work together.

We talk. I ask questions and I listen. We talk about your work, what you like to do, where you've traveled, and yes, I will probably ask what your favorite food is.

We move around. We laugh. I check in with you during the session. I'm always guiding you, but I'm also watching and paying attention to what happens while we're talking.

I really enjoy getting to know people a little, and I think that makes a difference in the experience.

So when Alexandra wrote that in her review (scroll to read it), it made me so so happy.

I am endlessly curious about how people live 🧡🌴☀

I love being somewhere completely different from what I know and just watching everyday life unfold. How people live, work, get around, spend their time. All the ordinary things that can look completely different somewhere else.

The Kerala backwaters stretch for more than 900 kilometers along the Malabar Coast, connecting lakes, lagoons, rivers and canals. Long before roads, these waterways were how people traveled, traded and moved goods from one place to another. Today, entire communities still live along the water, and the backwaters remain very much a part of everyday life.📸🐟🌴🛶

Sri Lanka 2027 🌴☀🧡✈

Days 5 & 6 bring us to Kandy, and I think these days will give us a completely different feel for Sri Lanka.

We'll be surrounded by the colors and paintings of the Dambulla caves, the smells and flavors of a spice garden, and later the sounds and energy of the Pooja ceremony at the Temple of the Tooth.

And then we'll experience Kandy through food, walking, tasting, and seeing where the evening takes us.

This dating 🧡 profile session in Northampton was so much fun!

We spent about an hour walking around town, stopping in different spots along the way and chatting pretty much the entire time.

I love sessions like this because we can move around, change the background completely within a few minutes, and just see what we find. No rushing from one location to another.

Just a really relaxed, fun hour taking photos around Northampton. 📸

💛 Days 2–4 are a pretty good example of why I love this itinerary.
Habarana and Sigiriya

We'll spend time in a village cooking and sharing a meal, watch elephants while we have lunch, climb Sigiriya at the best time of day, and explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa by bicycle.

It's a beautiful mix of nature, history, food, and everyday life. That's the kind of travel I never get tired of. 🐘🌴✈️📸
