I finally made it to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley! Every time I’m in LA I try to visit, but LA is way bigger than you think — it’s about 1.5 hours from Disneyland in good traffic. Totally worth the drive.

Walking through Air Force One, seeing the Oval Office, exploring Reagan’s early years, Cold War history, and even spotting the jars of Jelly Belly jelly beans (there’s a great story behind those!) made this one of the most memorable presidential libraries I’ve visited.

If you ever find yourself in Southern California, don’t miss the Air Force One Pavilion, the First Lady exhibits, the Berlin Wall segment outside, and the views over Simi Valley.
