I guess the pot of gold really was at the end of the rainbow… parked at the FedEx terminal in Anchorage, Alaska.
And somehow it landed right on this cargo plane. Alaska always knows how to put on a show.

From a distance I thought this Alaskan Bull Moose was eating a snake…

Turns out it was a 3-foot strip of tree bark covered in slobber 😂 The closer I got, the crazier it looked. Just another wild day in Alaska where even lunch looks dangerous.

Would you have gotten closer to investigate? 👀🫎

This cow moose was putting in some serious work trying to peel the bark off this tree 🫎🌲

Most people don’t realize moose don’t even have top front teeth. They use their powerful lower teeth and tough upper gums to strip bark and vegetation like this. Watching wildlife up close in Alaska never gets old.

One of the most satisfying moments you’ll see in the Alaska wilderness.

This female Alaskan moose dips her head beneath the surface, searching for fresh vegetation hidden under the water. Then as she rises back up… water pours from her long muzzle like a waterfall and drips from her mouth in slow motion perfection.

The raw beauty of Alaska nature. This is why I love the wild.

Would you sit here and watch this all day?

Spring time in Alaska means one thing… baby season.
This tiny newborn moose calf is only hours old and already up walking around beside momma. Look how small it is compared to her. Hard to believe this little baby will someday grow into one of Alaska’s giants.

Spent hours searching the Alaska wilderness for moose… only to get home and have one show up at my window like, “You rang, sir?” 😂

This beautiful cow moose walked right up beside our house to snack on the fresh green grass growing around the house. Sometimes in Alaska, the wildlife finds you.

Spring in Alaska means one thing… baby moose season is here 🫎💛

This exhausted mama moose just gave birth to TWINS, and these little calves are already busy nursing and getting the nutrients they need to grow strong. What’s amazing is moose calves can stand and walk within just hours of being born… and in only a few days, they’re already running right alongside mom.

Just hours old and already finding its feet!
This wobbly-legged moose calf is taking its very first steps into the Alaska wilderness while an exhausted mama stays close, showering her newborn with all the love and protection it needs.

Moments like this are why I never get tired of watching Alaska’s wild side unfold.

If you ever wondered if a bear can get into a bear (proof?)Trash can?

Night shift just got… interesting ⚡🫎

The electric company hired a new security guard—but he’s a young yearling moose and I’m not convinced he’s ready for the job 😂

Think he’s got what it takes, or is he clocking out early?
