At 5:22 this morning, AFD was dispatched to a residence on Tolhurst Ct in the Baxter area after multiple callers reported smoke and flames visible from the garage. Engine-14 was first in and confirmed a working fire, with flames pushing up the front of the structure into the 2nd floor. Crews went in for an aggressive search after being unable to locate any occupants outside the well-involved home. The search came up negative, and the occupants were located later down the street. At the same time, fire conditions worsened, as flames moved into the attic space and through the roof. A short time later, crews were able to get inside and transition to an offensive attack. There were no reported injuries. Batt-2, Batt-3, Safety-1, ALS-1, Engine-3, Engine-4, Engine-6, Engine-14, Truck-3, Truck-12, Rescue-4, Medic-6, & Rehab-14 responded.
