🌊 @ the lake 🌊

These two were the very first couple to message me and grab one of the lake + air mattress shoots I offered a couple weeks ago! And yes… it was definitely a learning curve for me 😂 but boy, did we have FUN!!!

Seriously, these two were the cutest and were down for absolutely anything I asked. I am so thankful for clients who trust me, go with the crazy ideas, and make sessions like this so much fun to photograph. 🤍

✨ A little taste of fall magic ✨

I had SO much fun during this mini session the other evening! These sweet faces, the gorgeous evening light, and those pink skies made for the perfect little glimpse of what my favorite season has in store. 🤍

The evenings are finally starting to cool down, the light is getting softer, and I can already feel fall creeping in—and I am sooooo excited! 🍂 Even with how busy and crazy life has been lately, fall will always be my absolute favorite time of year to take pictures. There’s just something about the cooler air, golden light, changing colors, and cozy feeling that makes every session feel a little extra special.

And these pink skies lately?! They are making me even more excited for all the beautiful sessions still to come. I cannot wait to fill this season with sweet families, love, laughter, and all those little moments that deserve to be remembered. 📸✨

How is this sweet girl already a SENIOR?! 🥹🤍
I’ve had the privilege of having Chloe in my class over the couple of years I worked at the high school, and she was always the one to check in to see if I needed help. She has always been such a kind, thoughtful, and genuinely sweet girl, which made it even more meaningful to capture this special season of her life.

We had the most gorgeous day for her session, filled with sunshine, laughter, and of course… a little bit of chaos. 😂 Somehow, Chloe managed to lock her keys in her car on the side of the road, but we weren’t about to let that stop us! We handled the little adventure and still made sure we got ALL the pretty pictures. 🤍📸

Chloe, thank you for trusting me to capture your senior portraits! It has been so special getting to watch you grow through the years, and I’m so excited to see where this next chapter takes you. You have so many amazing things ahead, and I hope you always remember just how much potential you have. ✨

Riley | Senior Year Edition 🎓✨

It’s 12:30 in the morning on a school night, but I seriously COULD NOT WAIT to post these!!!

I’ve had the privilege of capturing Riley through so many moments — Homecoming, Prom, Volleyball, and more — but this session has to be one of my favorites. There’s just something so special about getting to capture someone during their senior year! 🤍

Can we talk about how GORGEOUS this girl is?! 😍 And the best part? She’s just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. A couple of weeks ago, Riley, her momma, and I had so much fun taking these, and let me tell you… Riley is truly a model!

Senior sessions will always hold such a special place in my heart. Getting to freeze this season and create memories they can look back on forever is one of my favorite parts of photography. 🤍

These two reached out to me after I posted about my Fires Creek sessions, and I am SO glad they did! This was my first time ever getting to photograph at Fires Creek, and let’s just say… it is officially one of my new favorite places. 😍

I also have a couple of senior sessions from here that I cannot wait to share with you all, so stay tuned! 🫶🏼

Abby & Levi were the absolute sweetest. Their session felt so effortless and natural from the very beginning. Sometimes you meet people, and everything just seems to fall into place, and that’s exactly how this evening felt. The laughs, the little moments, the way they looked at each other—it all came so naturally, and I loved getting to capture it.

I had the privilege of knowing Abby when I worked at the high school, so getting to see her grow up, hear about her job, and now see her engaged and building this next chapter of her life was such a bittersweet feeling. There is something so special about getting to photograph people you once knew in one season of their life and then having the opportunity to capture them in another. 🤍

I am so thankful these two grabbed the deal and trusted me to capture this season for them. Their gallery is full of sweet, sentimental moments that I hope they can look back on years from now and remember exactly how this season felt.

I’ve had a dream session idea in my head lately, and I would absolutely love to finally bring it to life. 🤍

I’m looking for a cute couple who doesn’t mind getting a little wet and would be willing to head to the lake with me on Wednesday 8/19, Thursday 8/20, Saturday 8/22, or Sunday 8/23.

The vision is something a little different and very dreamy — starting with an air mattress and sheet floating in the water, followed by some sweet, playful photos in the shallows, and then ending with you two simply swimming and enjoying the water together. 🫶🏼
You won’t need to bring anything besides yourselves — I’ll take care of the air mattress, sheet, and location.

And honestly, y’all have been killing it with helping me find people for all my big, crazy photography ideas! So I’m going to keep asking and keep dreaming up all the fun sessions I’ve been wanting to create. I seriously can’t wait to show y’all some of the other ideas I have coming!

Since this is a session I’ve been wanting to create for a while, I’ll be offering a really good discount for the couple who wants to help me bring the vision to life. 🤍

The sweetest evening with the Duong family. 🤍
Some sessions are about getting everyone to smile at the camera, and some are about chasing little feet, walking old train tracks, giving the biggest hugs, and simply soaking in the moments that matter. This session was the second kind.

Waylon is full of life, laughter, and curiosity. Kids like him have a way of reminding us to slow down, put away the distractions, and truly enjoy what's right in front of us. Watching this sweet family together was such a gift, and I don't think they could have made my job any easier. Their love is genuine, their laughter is contagious, and every moment between them feels effortless.

Lately, I've struggled to keep up with editing and posting because life with my own little toddler has been keeping me on my toes. But if I'm being honest, I wouldn't trade this season for anything. It has made me appreciate these moments even more—the ones that pass by so quickly and deserve to be remembered forever.

To every family, couple, and client who has trusted me to capture your memories... thank you. You continue to support my dream while allowing me to witness some of life's most beautiful moments. That is something I'll never take for granted.

A rainy morning in Asheville turned into the most beautiful, light-filled day for the Doejaarens to say "I do." 🤍

One of my favorite things about photography is its ability to preserve what truly matters. By the end of the day, shoes were covered in mud, the bottoms of dresses were soaked, and the rain had made its presence known. But when I look back through these photographs, I don't see any of that. I see love. I see joy. I see two people beginning the rest of their lives together.
I truly don't think this day could have unfolded any more beautifully.

Watching Lexi practically jump with excitement as she walked toward the love of her life is a moment I'll never forget. You could feel the anticipation, the happiness, and the deep love she has for Owen in every smile and every laugh. It was the kind of joy that filled every corner of the day.

And the reception... it was unforgettable. Endless laughter, dancing, hugs, happy tears, and a room overflowing with people who love them dearly.

One of my favorite parts? It was a morning wedding. There's something so refreshing and romantic about beginning forever with the sunrise. From the sweetest brunch to the cutest donuts, every little detail felt intentional, warm, and completely unique. It was proof that weddings don't have to follow tradition to be absolutely magical.

Lexi and Owen, thank you for trusting me to capture one of the most important days of your lives. Your wedding was full of genuine love, faithful hearts, and unforgettable moments. It was an honor to witness.

The sweetest Blevins family! 🤍
Every time I get to spend time with this sweet family, I leave with the biggest smile. Their sessions are always filled with laughter, silly moments, sweet cuddles, and so much love. It is truly such a joy getting to capture these memories for a family that is always so full of kindness and happiness.

This session was extra special because I was originally supposed to capture these moments in the hospital right after sweet Beckett was born. But God had a different plan, and this little guy spent some time showing just how strong he was in the NICU. With a strong momma, a strong daddy, and so many prayers surrounding him, Beckett made his way home as a healthy, precious baby boy.

Getting to capture the Blevins family growing from two to three was such a blessing. This little boy may be small, but he already has such a big story to tell — a story of strength, answered prayers, and just how amazing our God truly is.

Sweet Beckett, you are already so loved, and I am so thankful I got to capture this beautiful chapter of you&your family’s story. 🤍
