Years ago, I created a preset pack inspired by one simple idea: creating art that spoke to my soul. (SWIPE to see the before image!)

Somewhere along the way, I got caught up in the hustle, the pressure to create on demand, instead of what truly inspired me. The very reason I fell in love with photography slowly faded into the background. I’m sure you can relate?

I had every intention of releasing these presets years ago, but life had other plans. My health, our children’s health, and the season we were walking through kept me from ever bringing them to life. Hesitation also lingered due to other photographers buying and then selling MY presets as their own. Over time, I convinced myself they weren’t worth sharing anymore. My computer is ancient, my business has changed, and I’m no longer “Paisley Ann Photography.”

But yesterday, as I was praying and thinking about how I could continue serving others, one thought kept coming back to me:

“Why can’t you sell your presets? Why can’t those sales help people?”

And honestly… I couldn’t come up with a good reason not to.

Looking back, I truly believe God gave me the gift of photography for a purpose. It wasn’t just about taking beautiful photos, it was preparing me for something much bigger than I could have imagined. Every season has led me to this moment, and I’m so grateful for where the journey has taken me.

So… I think it’s finally time.

These presets won’t just help you create beautiful images that inspire your inner artistic side, they’ll help us continue making a difference through Kind Rooted, with every purchase helping us love and serve others in our community.

For awhile, I thought I had a clear vision for what this page would evolve into after putting down my camera. But the more I prayed, the more God began showing me something different than what I originally planned. Something deeper. Something that aligned perfectly with my heart and with what He wanted all along.

I think sometimes we have to sit in the waiting. It’s not procrastination. It’s listening. It’s allowing God to align things in His timing instead of forcing our own.

Slowly, this page is evolving into something so much bigger than I could ever fully explain through words. And honestly… The vision is really beautiful.

Our mission, Kind Rooted, is the foundation of everything our family is and does. A mission rooted in intentional acts of kindness, love, community, and bringing others closer to God.

Growing up, I struggled with disabilities that often made me feel like I didn’t belong. Even now, there are still moments I feel different. But somewhere along this journey, especially while building our shop and this community. I realized maybe that feeling of being “different” was never something to hide. Maybe it was part of the purpose all along.

And now, as parents raising children with disabilities of their own, we never want them to feel unseen, unloved, or like they don’t fit in the way I once did.

So we are building the space I wish I had growing up. A place where everyone is invited. A place where people feel loved, seen, respected, and reminded that they were created with purpose. A place where kindness leads people back to God.

This space is going to be filled with love, hope, growth, and opportunities for YOU to serve too.

I’ll still share our family photographs because I’ll never stop capturing our life through my lens. But expect this page to become so much more than photography.

I’ll be sharing ways to serve others, intentional acts of kindness, the hardest and most beautiful parts of our journey, encouragement for those walking through difficult seasons, and reminders that even through pain… we can still grow.

Because we believe in being rooted in purpose while we bloom in kindness. ♥️

We were created with intention, every part of who we are was placed here on purpose. Not to blend in, not to become what the world expects, but to grow wild in the way He designed us to. Rooted deeply in Him, and blooming outward in kindness.

Kind Rooted isn’t just about doing good things.
It’s about becoming the kind of person who lives it… Who lives it in every part of their being.

It’s the way you see yourself, in the way you show up for others, in the way you choose love when it would be easier not to.

Because kindness isn’t random.
It’s planted.
It’s chosen.
It’s grown.
It’s INTENTIONAL. This my friends is why we have .

And when you begin to see yourself the way He sees you; created on purpose, for a purpose…
