I’m opening a last-minute giveaway for my Rose Garden session on Friday, June 12 at 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

This is open for a family, maternity, or newborn session.

I love the candid in-between moments so much, but I also know how special it is to have a few photos where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling. I know these photos weren’t technically taken in summer lol, but they still give me that feeling.

While newborn photos are usually taken at home or in a studio, I find that outdoor sessions feel especially genuine. It might be the fresh air after weeks spent indoors or the natural light that casts a gentle glow, making everything look simple when focused on your family, holding your baby. I don’t believe newborn photos require props or elaborate setups, just a peaceful morning outside, a baby wrapped in your arms, and your family all together.

I might be biased, but I don’t think I’ll ever tire of capturing the love between couples at the Jefferson Memorial. There’s something truly tender about the soft marble, the gentle morning light, and how this place fosters a quiet, soulful atmosphere. No need for elaborate setups or complicated poses, just two people sharing this beautiful season of life together. Honestly, that genuine simplicity speaks volumes, and it’s enough.

After that, I’ll send you a style guide, some prep tips, and the agreement to make sure everything feels easy and ready for your session.
