It’s September 1st, which means my season really kicks into FULL swing! And I figured it was about time I introduced myself to some of the new faces around here!
I’m Jacquelyn, one of the “J’s” behind J&J Brusie Photography. I’ve been doing photography since I became a mom…16 years ago, which honestly makes me feel a little old.
I started with a Canon Rebel, a nifty 50mm and a whole lot of enthusiasm. Since then, I’ve added four more children to the mix, who definitely keep me busy and life interesting! I’m thankful for my better half of 16 years, who juggles it all at home while I’m doing this. 📸
Through the years, photography has remained a lasting passion of mine. One of my favorite parts has always been the people. I’ve had the privilege of meeting many incredible clients, hearing their stories, and getting to know them beyond just the time we spend behind the camera.
Photography is such an intimate experience. You’re trusting someone to capture moments that mean so much to you and over time, there’s a beautiful trust that develops between photographer and client. I don’t take that trust lightly.
And this year, I’ve recruited some helpers! You’ll be getting to know them around here, too, so stay tuned as I introduce the faces who are helping make this crazy, wonderful photography season happen!
