Senior portraits in the fall... perfection!!

Lexi had pictures taken at school when she went for her senior yearbook portrait. They were not personalized. They were generic. When she saw them she knew she needed customized senior portraits that reflected what she wanted.

The fall colors were amazing and Lexi received portraits that she loved.

I received this thank you note from one of the seniors I worked with this past year. I won't post her name so it's not to embarrass her or anything but when I got home and read it I was in tears. 

Over the winter I was incredibly close to giving up. I figured maybe I would just do fun shoots here and there because things weren't going the way I had planned. As they most often don't Nguyen running a small business and trying to build a brand.

I do know that I'm different than others in this area. I do know that when I work with my seniors they really enjoy the experience because I try really hard to plan sessions that reflect them. What they want. Not the, average pictures that get taken when they go for their senior picture for the yearbook.

I will probably end up framing this thank you note because it really means that much to me.

What an amazing accomplishment! I first photographed Journey back in 2018 when she was being promoted to a Cadette. Now she is graduated and accomplished so much throughout her years as a Girl Scout. I am happy to say I was a part of those cookie sales!

What an amazing game last night! Loudoun County has some amazing soccer players and I am always so happy to capture them. I noticed at the district playoffs that there were 3 photographers in attendance for the boys game. When it was over, they all left and I was there for the girls. I was the only photographer there last night (yah!). I talked to a father who thought girls sports always receives the same coverage. It doesn't.

Keep shining bright, ladies!! You are all so talented and deserve the recognition.

Indy vs Stone Bridge is always an exciting game and this one was no different. I took 900 pictures during this game and whittled them down to around 180. Whew. Just a few hours of editing.

I love capturing girls soccer. Loudoun County has so much talent and tonight Indy and Stone Bridge meet again. It should be a great game. I wish both teams could win... and now I sound like my mom ☺️
