Happy Thanksgiving, lovies! 🦃📸
I’ve been reflecting a lot, and honestly… I’m crazy grateful for every one of you who continues to support my photography journey, even when life pulls me in a million directions.

Your trust in me, your patience, your kind messages, your love for my work… it all means more than I can ever put into words. I know I haven’t been as active on here as I’d like, but balancing mom life, kids in sports, and everything in between has been a whole marathon without the running part.

I miss creating, and I miss sharing more with you. When life settles a bit and I find my groove again (and my husbands schedule changes enough to help do some running), I’ll be back to booking birth stories and all the sessions under my brand. I’m not gone, just pacing myself.

Thank you for sticking with me, believing in me, and loving my art even during the quiet seasons. I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know. 🧡

Today is the birthday of my dear friend and an absolutely amazing birth doula, Emily Lewis, Birth Doula !

From the moment we met, she’s been more than just a friend—she’s been a steady, compassionate presence, a cheerleader, and a safe space. Watching her in action as a birth doula is nothing short of inspiring. She pours her heart into every mama she supports, guiding them with strength, wisdom, and so much love.

The very first Fresh 48 session I ever photographed was my own—welcoming my sweet Harbor into the world. Little did I know then that this moment would spark a deep love for documenting the earliest hours of a baby’s life.

Not even a full day out of labor, I knew in my heart that I wanted to hold onto every little detail—the tiny fingers, the wrinkled toes, the way time seemed to stand still as we soaked in the newness of it all. And now, looking back, I’m so incredibly grateful that I did.

These photos mean everything to me. They take me right back to those fleeting hours when I was just beginning to learn my baby’s face, her sounds, her warmth against my chest. They remind me how quickly it all changes—how one day, those tiny fingers that barely wrapped around mine will be reaching for new adventures.

This is why I do what I do. Because these moments—raw, real, and impossibly beautiful—deserve to be held onto. Parenthood moves fast, but these first hours? They are the beginning of a love story unlike any other. And it deserves to be remembered. 🩷
