I was looking for the red top of Marron Bells at sunrise as photographers usually did. However, when I visit the site, it was raining. Right after I packed y camera and started walking to the shuttle bus station, sunlight suddenly lightened the yellow aspen trees. Landscape photographers often have this kind of surprise.

I arrived at paradise on Aug. 22. There was still a lot of wild flower in paradise area, although I was told the peak time was in the past week. This photo was taken before sunset on the skyline trail on Mazama ridge. It was an unforgivable experience.
