Just a few weeks ago, I wrapped up my last session in my physical studio.

It felt especially fitting that it was with the Moranz family. I had the privilege of photographing their wedding several years ago, and now I’ve had the joy of documenting their beautiful family of five.

And to answer everyone’s burning question: no, I’m not giving up photography forever and ever.

Storyweaver Studio still exists, but I’m intentionally making it a much smaller part of my life because my full focus needs to be on my new role with the Atchison Foundation. I’m excited to pour myself into serving our community in a role that, in many ways, requires just as much storytelling as owning my own business.

Once I’ve found my rhythm, I have a feeling Storyweaver Studio will discover a new way to tell stories. I don’t know exactly what that looks like yet, but I’m excited to see where that journey leads.

It was such a joy to capture Tristan and Annika’s wedding day a few weeks ago. These two have the best sense of humor, so much joy, and the kind of energy that makes everyone around them feel more alive.

And somehow, their wedding also became a huge milestone for me — they are officially the 500th gallery I’ve delivered through Storyweaver Studio 🙌

That number honestly feels surreal.

So many of you have trusted me with your memories, milestones, and stories over the years. I’ve photographed growing families, wedding days, newborns, graduations, and moments that can never truly be recreated. Being invited into those spaces has never been something I’ve taken lightly.

As many of you know, I’m stepping into a new season as the Executive Director of the Atchison Foundation, which means I’m not currently taking new clients for 2026. Once I’m more established there, I may open limited availability again down the road.

But for now — thank you. Truly. And stay tuned, because have many more sneaks to come from my May and June sessions 😊
