When a child must be removed from a home for their safety and well-being, a family member isn’t allowed to take them in unless they have a spare bed. REALTOR® Kristy Payne, and her police officer husband, Randy, who were foster parents themselves, don’t want that rule to stop a child from going to a familiar place. “I hated that people were having to turn down helping kids they knew and loved because they didn’t have the financial means,” she says. They started Fostering Sweet Dreams, which has provided beds (often donated by home sellers) to 5,339 Oklahoma children in the foster system since 2016—more than 1,000 children just last year. They also provide car seats, high chairs, and strollers for foster-care placements.

moments…
Let’s be honest we all have them…moments where we feel like we may be a part of the bad moms club. I’m embracing these bad mom moments, because I’m not super woman and I don’t want to be. Amari had Oreos for breakfast…but it stopped tears and fighting to get in my lap so I can finish working on my business. He was actually really happy and I still feel like I’m winning. So, if you failed at breakfast this week this is permission to flip the bird to your voice! You’re doing great momma 😉😘

I adore my girls…it’s been interesting having girls so far apart and in different seasons of their lives. 🫶🏾They bring so much laughter and joy to our home and I’m thankful God saw fit to entrust them to me! 💓💗💕

Got Ms. Maylee all together for a trip to the park, but she wasn’t having it! So it’s just another day lazing around the house…Daddy and Amari did go to the park without us though! Sad to be stuck in the house again, but loving my company!!! 🌸🌺🌸

Made it thru Day 1 of our move. Let’s just say I had no intention of moving while pregnant. I was definitely not at my best. 🤢 I’m so grateful to and Rashod for showing up to battle the 3 flights of stairs. 💕 Thank you Tam for making up the difference you pretty much packed my whole kitchen! And I’m always eternally grateful to Glamma and Papa for taking care of the pip squeaks so we can actually get all the tings done!!! I never feel bad because they expect to spend weekends with them. Now to get some rest for Day 2. 🥱🥴
