*** Astrophotography Meet up this coming up Saturday ( September 4th)*** we will meet at Brasstown Bald around 7pm to watch the sunset and then shoot the Milkyway.

Bring your tripods, flash lights and some snacks. The Milkyway visibility starts at 9:24pm!!!

Castle valley, Utah. This place was absolutely stunning and an awesome experience. I drove a hour through the mountains to get to this overlook and once I got to the top, it was raining but slowly clear out. Once it did, I was able to watch one the most beautiful sunsets in Utah. I am about to get a little technical here so stick with me. For this photo I used two different exposures, one for the foreground and for the Milky Way. Then I zoomed in while taking a 60s shot creating longer trail lights. Let me know what you think!
