A Georgia Tech Love Adventure

There’s something really poetic about photographing two people in the middle of a place built for big dreams. Between the brick walls, busy sidewalks, and the glow of downtown Atlanta just around the corner, Thomas + Carly somehow made Georgia Tech feel quiet for a moment. Like the rest of the world faded into the background and it was just them. 🧡

Their session honestly felt less like a photoshoot and more like tagging along on one of their favorite dates. Lots of laughing. Lots of leaning into each other. The kind of connection that doesn’t need to be forced because it already exists in every little glance and smile.

And somehow, even surrounded by students, traffic, and campus chaos, they made the whole city feel soft.

We wandered around campus chasing good light, finding little pockets of calm between the architecture and movement that makes Georgia Tech feel so alive. It was the perfect mix of classy, carefree, and completely them.

Thomas + Carly, thank you guys for trusting us to capture this season of your story. Your joy is ridiculously contagious. 💙

This morning during church, Brian took photos of what I call a “prayer fire tunnel.”

I feel Everything I’ve photographed for the last 20 years has had worship at its foundation.
From family photos to weddings, I’m always chasing the same thing: connection.
Not just to people, but to God moving through the world around us.

And if you don’t take yourselves too seriously, you usually love each other really well.

Sooo I’m making it a point this year to share way more of what I actually love doing.

Real people. Real stories. Real connection.

This is Amy from the Ana Crawford Children’s Center in Woodstock. We created these branding images for Cedar Crust Magazine by BVM, and we seriously loved every minute of getting to capture her heart and the work she does.

This kind of work never gets old for me.
