These are photos I took for the American Institute of Architects as a part of their 2013 AIA Tour series. As part of Atlanta Public Schools high school transformation program, Perkins+Will renovated and expanded Benjamin E. Mays High School to house four career based academies. Two academies are located on each of two floors - one on the north side of the building and one on the south. Between these academies they located a new two story media center and a new two story cafeteria. Each of these fronts on interior courtyards letting natural light permeate the interior. The project includes a complete gut and renovation of 310,000 square feet and an addition of 50,000 square feet.

Pimsler Hoss Architects renovated this home creating a beautiful, large deck area for entertaining. I photographed this home right before the owners started decorating for the Tour of Homes.
