Waterfalls have been a long time obsession of mine and there are hundreds within Georgia. My goal is to hopefully capture all of them over the next few years. But Anna Ruby Falls was definitely worth the drive and up hill hike! Wow! This was taken Thanksgiving weekend 2022.

Went to Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge yesterday to see the frozen waterfall. The whole thing was partially frozen with spots that were completely frozen. The coolest part was see the rushing water going through the ice and out the other side. What an amazing experience

Took my sister down to UGA today to check out her new house, see the campus and we went to the little zoo that was nearby. Bear Hollow Zoo Got some really cool pics of their Bald eagle.

Tuesday was a day off from school for election day... So we went to the Atlanta zoo for our monthly visit. We chose an awesome day to go. the weather was gorgeous and the animals were super active even the ones we don't usually see. Check out the gorillas, red panda and the flamingo. I had a session in Gainsville today and the drive up was absolutely gorgeous!!! I couldn't help but stop and take pictures of the view and colors. I love fall!!!

I'm submitting 2 of my landscape photographs to the north georgia fair this weekend. The color one is the lower falls at amicalola falls and the black and white is the upper falls from the side up a set of stairs. I'm excited and nervous cause it's the first time I have done this.
