Ceasar was my first male empowerment session. It was beautiful, so fun, and authentically life changing experience. Of course, I didn’t need to do an empowerment session with him to know he’s breaking barriers and changing the world… it was truly an honor to be a part of the journey.

Planning my own intimate wedding has definitely given me a new perspective on what my clients need…. I’m excited to be working on my planning “magazine” to give as a gift to all newly booked couples. It will help SO much (tried and true tools I’m using now).

And my biggest piece of advice— ELOPE FIRST🖤🎉 seriously, I’m so excited we’re having the opportunity to do this and have our vows, paperwork, and photos together first before the “big day” with our favorite people.

If you’d told me 3 years ago that I would manifest the life I have now— I would have laughed at you.

Hi, I’m Janelle— your empowerment photographer.
The truth is, at the beginning of 2018, I still had no idea who I was. My self-worth was riding low, I felt trapped in the city I lived in, and I was surrounded by unhealthy relationships (both with myself, and my best friend).

I was still trying to hard to become someone I wasn’t, and join a club I didn’t really want to be a part of (goodbye southern wedding industry!).

It was a long process— a survival identity death, and then learning to reconstruct my belief systems for who I really am, and what I believe and KNOW I deserve.

Today, I’m living in Mexico and I’m engaged to a wonderful partner. We’re also eloping next month!

My self-worth has been discovered in a way I never knew was possible (that I possibly even condemned in others before)…. And I’m so thankful to be on the journey, so I can share this with you all too.

My goal today is to empower people— into radical self love, and celebration of love and connection within their relationships.

So if you’re getting married, or going on an adventure with someone you love— and you want magical connection and some serious ART made out of your time together, I’m you’re photographer. I specialize in adventurous and steamy sessions, elopements and intimate weddings. I’m not the girl to have at your wedding of 80+ with a princess dress and sweet tea.

If you’re still early on the journey of self love (maybe even still healing from past trauma) or if you’re at a place where you’re ready to say “f**k it— I’m a GODDESS”… I AM HERE FOR YOU. I see you, and I want to make art together that can serve as a reminder of your divinity and healing.
