Shad Burt came in on his birthday for portraits. He told me he wanted some of his images to show that he is a writer. I knew that he wrote poetry, and occasionally performed work out loud. So I put together a hazy open mic stage set, and asked him to read something. Images coming soon.

I will forever chase places that make feel like I am in an alternate reality, that allow me to believe in other worlds. A little more than an hour hike in, and you stumble into magic tucked away in Atlanta. The bamboo forest sits right on water, and the hike is easy, and beautiful the whole way. If you are looking for something free, active and inspiring to do in Atlanta, this should be on your list.
