As I’m getting ready for a very important meeting with one of my favorite wedding photography studios, I can’t help but look back at the journey that brought me here and where I want to go. Moving to Chicago from Atlanta has been a whirlwind of emotions!!! Half of the time I am scared of “starting all over” because let’s face it, I am! And the other half I’m giddy with excitement for what’s to come!!
This image in particular spoke to me as I was looking through my journey.
This bride was a model at a styled shoot when I met her and Jas for the first time. I ended up photographing weddings as a second photographer for Jas for a bit (and loved it)!
This image was the full circle moment. Jas was her photographer when she got married and she invited me to come with her as her second!
I don’t take this for granted.
I’ve loved creating meaningful connections with other creatives in GA, and I really hope that I get to have that opportunity in our new home state as well.
When I think of where I want my business to go, I think dearly of working together with other creatives to serve our couples. That has always been a big part of why I love weddings. I love how we all become one big team and work through the challenges that the day throws at us in a way that we can make it seem like the day is running smoothly. ;)
I love the creative team just as much as I love our couples!!
So Chicago weddings vendors, I can’t wait to meet you and hopefully work together in the near future!
Oh, and another favorite moment of mine is that Jas asked me to be her photographer when she got married!! Love ya !!!
