Hey there! I just wanted to share a sneak peek from the beautiful wedding we had the pleasure of photographing at the Historic Dekalb Courthouse in Downtown Decatur. Polly and Mason tied the knot on a lovely Saturday evening in January, and let me tell you, it was absolutely magical. Their choice of olive and purple as their color palette was stunning, and the room was filled with so much love from their amazing family and friends.

Capturing their special day was a joy. We witnessed all the candid moments and heartfelt emotions that made their love story truly one of a kind. From the crushed velvet decor to the lush flowers that decorated the venue, every detail was perfectly captured to tell their unique story.

"It's about damn time" was the theme of Suzanne and Cory's wedding. They have built this big, beautiful life together for years and the wedding makes it all official. Anyone who attended could attest that this was one hell of a party and likely one of the uniquest weddings they've ever been to in all the best ways. The wedding was held at their beautiful lakeside home, the decor and vibe was whimsical and colorful. They had so many fun activities for everyone to do at the reception from the kids to the adults. The photos I wish I could show because they are epic and really show the joy and love - however, I chose 25 as a snapshot for this wonderful day.

One of my first weddings in the start of my business was at Vinewood Stables, so I was excited to return to this location to photograph Sarah and Boone's wedding. Vendor Shoutout to Roll with Juniper for having the coolest photo booth around! Not only is the photo booth decorated nicely, they provide great props and they print out photo strips to put in a book for your guests to sign. Definetely consider them for your upcoming weddings and events! Here are some awesome photos from Sarah and Boone's wedding.

I'll take "Things I Wished I had Thought of" for 400, Alex. Did you know that you can plan a beautiful intimate ceremony at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens followed by a rooftop reception at the Fig Leaf? I wish I thought of that when I got married a decade ago. We had an hour after the ceremony to take all the gorgeous photos in the gardens and greenhouses. It was perfect.
