This year I’ve had the most fun sessions. Like this one, where I got booked to shoot a pre teen girl’s birthday party for 3 hours. Let’s just say if you can capture a bunch of girls together you can do anything. 😅😂 It was not for the weak. So yes, definitely book me for a pool birthday party for adults or kids cause these are so much fun!

How BTS’ “SWIM” music video inspired this photoshoot - but somehow became much more than that. 🌊⚓️💜

“Just keep swimming” has always been my personal tagline. Which is kind of ironic, considering I actually can’t swim.

I loved the water as a kid, until another kid nearly drowned me. Ever since then, I’ve been afraid to swim. But I never stopped loving the water.

Maybe that’s why this concept felt so personal.

I was conceived on a cruise ship and my last name translates to “Captain,” so the nautical theme has always been a part of my dad’s side of the family. My dad also loved swimming - and honestly, I sometimes joke that he reincarnated as my dog, because this little bastard would live in the water if I let him. 🐕😂

And when I saw BTS’ “SWIM” music video, all of those little pieces suddenly came together.

I may be a water sign, but apparently Scorpios can’t swim. 😂♏️

So I guess we’re just going to keep swimming. ⚓️🐕🌊

So I begged and begged. Cried and cried and she finally gave in. 😂😅

You can formally meet my 2024 client of the year and runner up for 2025. Yay! We usually only shoot her family which I still can’t post because of the kids but this time she booked my inflated pool minis and I’m so grateful I can post them because wow! It also just so happens that she’s a Taylor Swift double.

If you missed out on my minis you can book this exact set as a full session while it’s warm for additional $200 fee. We can definitely switch it up and make this more like ocean water. For this specific shoot I just wanted it to be moody.

It’s been too long so I’ve decided to share one of my favorite quinceañera sessions from last year and talk about my Queen Package.

Who should book this package? This package is perfect for birthday, senior/quinceañera sessions and bo***ir sessions.

You get the most amount of pictures with this package (which I have recently increased), unlimited outfit changes, up to 3 locations, professional video (see slide 2) and a very good quality album (last slide).

Also, having a 3 hour shoot gives you enough time to relax, get into it and not feel like you’re rushing. Although, if you want to have a lot of outfit changes it might get hectic haha It gives me the most amount of time to get creative and really think about angles, composition and lighting.

I have recently also purchased a video stabilizer so now my videos are even more stable (the video in this post was shot without it).

On March 22 I needed something to watch in the background while editing and I saw BTS Arirang concert on Netflix and decided to put it on. I’ve heard of them a couple of years ago and watched their Butter music video and decided it’s not my thing (I actually appreciate it more now)😂

So when I put Arirang concert on this was a completely different band. I fell in love with this new album but most importantly with who they are as people and their healthy masculinity. I liked boy bands before but never the way I like them as people.

Anyways, in the beginning of April I decided I want to go to their concert (lol for me) but soon realized that most of their shows are sold out. I was so sad and honestly was contemplating buying highly overpriced tickets BUT then! Ticketmaster MAGICALLY opened up a raffle for some tickets and I got my VIP ticket a week before the concert 💀🫠 It’s like the universe wanted me to go and see them. This trip was so smooth and fun and I’ve met so many amazing Army ladies!

The concert itself. Well, where do I ever start? The SC alone was almost worth the price for me. 😂🫠 The concert was 2 hours but it felt like 20 minutes and is all a fever dream now. I tried not to film too much as I wanted to dance and soak it in and that’s exactly what I did. 🕺

I’m sad they didn’t play Go Go, So What or Dimple but Silver Spoon was worth it. 🙈 Please .bighitofficial come to Atlanta- you have so many fans here!

Me trying to pick my favorites from this gallery 🫪😵‍💫

I strongly believe that more women need to do these kind of bo***ir(ish) sessions when they’re pregnant. Even if you’re not feeling 100% you I am willing to bet 20 years from now you’ll look at these pictures with different eyes.

These sessions are definitely more “difficult” than regular maternity sessions but I also know a lot of you a stubborn just like me so it should be a good challenge 😜

I wanted to post these on Chinese new year but I got busy and of course forgot. This year is a year of a fire horse and horse years are my favorite mostly because I love them but also because fire horse year means intense energy, passion and rapid transformation. And let’s just say I am definitely feeling the transformation part already.

I’ve recently been very into everything Asian. Speed and Love tv show, silent hill f, love and deep space video game and this birthday photo shoot we did at the end of last year. I have done the Mulan shoot as part of my Disney princesses project but this one came out even better.
