Join us for an evening of inspiration and empowerment!
This gallery event is something so special to me and I am honored to be finally seeing it through!

❤️ The "I Am More Than Project" celebrates the idea that young women are "more than" their labels, insecurities, and expectations, and appearances. ❤️

Event will feature a series of portraits of local teen girls, each paired with a personal "I am more than" statement.

It's also an experience designed to help other young women feel seen and valued and know that they are not alone when feeling like they don't measure up.

So grateful to have spots HALF FULL for the "I Am More Than" portrait project that I'm putting together!

If you have or know of a teen girl that deserves to be seen for who she truly is, share this post and encourage them to grab a spot for the Feb 1 photoshoot.

This storytelling exhibit will highlight teen girls and celebrate the idea that they are more than their labels, insecurities, or the expectations placed on them.

Something warm and sunny to boost your serotonin on this cold, dreary Wednesday 🌧️

My 2026 seniors have been KILLING IT. Every one has gotten in front of my camera and BOOM- it's like they've been doing this their whole life!

Lily is such a natural beauty and I was dying over her hair 😍 And that smile can brighten anyone's day!

We got her into this evening light and she looked like a damn angel. This set gives all the
editorial shoot vibes.

I remember when I was pregnant thinking-

“I just want him to stay in my tummy because at least he won’t be growing up yet.”

And now, here I sit almost 18 years later, knowing that this year, I am preparing for all the lasts for my baby. The first child going through senior year is rough enough, but that last one? It hits way different.

My house is already too quiet as my boys have their own lives. Sometimes it feels more like a hotel with their coming and going, but this will always be a safe place for them to come back to. ❤️

I’m so thankful to be this guy’s mom. He is smart, funny, and deeply caring. He is just about as sweet as they come and I am so blessed that God sent him to me.

Today I’m sending out a little extra love to my 2026 mamas. Especially those who have a kiddo relocating next Fall.

I’m going to stop writing now before I begin sobbing. 😭

Grow, Rise, and Thrive OPENS THIS THURSDAY! 🙌

At the beginning of last year, I felt a pull to expand upon what I do at my sessions- encourage confidence and build up self-image.

I created an interactive workshop centered on self-worth, mindset, and goal setting that I was able to bring to a few local schools and groups.

But I wanted to go deeper. Reach even more girls. So I started outlining an online program that would bring my knowledge and personal experience to young women no matter where they were.

I’m so excited to share to finally be announcing

The Grow, Rise, and Thrive Program officially opens for enrollment this Thursday, September 25th! 🎉

This is a guided, self-paced journey for girls 16-22 where they will:

✨ Learn how to build self-worth from the inside out
✨ Develop confidence she can carry into school, friendships, and her future

HEY 2026 SENIORS and MAMAS- SAVE THIS POST!

It's finally SENIOR YEAR and you're going to want the memories and experience that comes with having senior photos, right?

But how do you choose who captures them?

📸 Education is key and knowing what things to look for in a senior photographer before hiring one can eliminate buyers remorse and ensure that your photos turn out the way you want.

It’s in our nature to shop around when we are looking to hire someone or decide where we want to spend our money.
Sometimes, it’s all about the deal. But other times, it’s about quality and knowing your purchase will last.

I want you to choose someone who fits your style, budget, and level of service, even if it’s not me.

“Don’t fear failure. Fear being in the exact same place next year as you are today.”

Have you ever watched a baby try and walk?

She takes her first steps and everyone cheers and makes a huge deal about it. But when she inevitably falls after a few steps, does she just sit there and think,
“Welp, I tried. Guess walking is just not for me”?

🙅‍♀️ Nope. she’ll get up again. And fall again. And try again. And fall. Until she finally masters upright mobility.

It’s silly, but this is a great analogy to think about when we try something new and “fail”.

What we do next is important for our mindset and our growth. So next time something doesn’t go quite as you planned, take a breath and remember that failure is part of the journey.
