There’s something really special about being present for the people you love… and even more special when you get to capture moments they didn’t even know were happening. 🤍
My sister-in-love got married a couple years ago, and while I wasn’t there as the photographer, I felt this pull on my heart to step behind the lens and soak in the quiet, in-between moments,the ones that don’t make the timeline, but mean everything later.
The soft glances, the deep breaths, the laughter that happens just off to the side… the real, unfiltered pieces of a beautiful day.
I shared a few with her already, but she came back asking if there were more and that alone meant more to me than she probably knows. So here they are. The little moments. The behind-the-scenes. The heart of it all.
If I’m being honest, I don’t always give my work the credit it deserves… but moments like this remind me why I love being behind the lens. Always have, always will.
