Affordable Lunch Deals 🌮🌯

We know it’s getting harder to eat out these days with rising prices, which is why we love when restaurants come out with lunch specials and mini hours that aren’t so tough on your wallet.

Catch their lunch specials running Monday through Friday from 11:00am - 3:00pm and their mini hours in the late afternoon for some cheap sips and bites from Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 5:00pm.

That’s deals running all weekday long! If you’re gluten free or vegetarian, mention it to your server and they’ll be happy to help suggest some options or let you know what you can substitute.

Unlimited ramen for $17!

We went back to the place that gave us our most viral video! Shodo Ramen in Alpharetta is offering all you can eat ramen for just $17 when you show this video! They normally charge $22, but for our viewers only, they’re offering $5 off! This deal is only good for Monday-Thursday.

That includes access to their hot bar with bites like gyoza, vegetable tempura, cheese wontons, sushi rolls, and even ice cream. We came back and noticed a stronger focus on quality, freshness, and service under new management. For the limited amount of sushi they have, we found the rolls pretty decent for being included in the ayce price. They make them fresh every hour or less. There’s no sashimi or items like that so don’t expect a full on sushi buffet like Ora Ora or Nori Nori.

If you’re short on time, they’re offering a weekday lunch special for $10 ramen bowls Monday through Thursday from 11am to 2pm. Now this is the kind of lunch special prices we need in these economic times!

Would you try this deal or have you seen better?

***please note that everyone in your party must all order all you can eat OR you entire party is ordering à la carte.

If you haven’t heard of Bagel Joint yet, that needs to change. 🥯

We discovered Bagel Joint during one of our visits to the Williamsburg Smorgasburg weekends and noticed they had long lines and were quickly selling out.

But they’ve been making a name for themselves long before at local farmer’s markets. And once you taste their bagels you’ll understand why they’re selling out daily so it only made sense they opened up a storefront for their loyal patrons.

Their brick and mortar is a recent and welcomed addition to Brooklyn. If you haven’t been here yet, then you’ll want to make it a point to make them your next bagel spot to try.

How they stand out from the rest is their flavors! You’ll find fresh bagels made daily paired with unique ingredients like miso, gochuchang, duck egg, wasabi and so much more. They do an amazing job at blending both of their Jewish and Korean culture into their food.

Have you stumbled upon this Brooklyn gem yet? Come early because they sell out of their popular items quickly.

Thanks for letting us feature you on our East Coast road-trip!

Favorite Bites in Flushing 🥢🥡

We had a limited amount of time in Flushing and since this was our first time visting, many of you gave great suggestions like Tangram Mall, certain food stalls, and even getting a scalp treatment.

Many describe Flushing as the newer Chinatown and when we got off the subway, we were blown away by all the options. We were able to still do quite a bit for 5 hours prior to meeting up with friends in Forrest Hills for dinner. Here are some of our favorite bites from our afternoon visit.

What are some spots we need to try next time?

Vietnam’s Leading Coffee Producer 🫘

We stumbled upon one of the U.S. locations for Trung Nguyen Legend Coffee on our epic East Coast road-trip. This location in South Philly is their largest cafe in the U.S. with 2 floors and open terrace.

Most of you may not recognize this name, but what we most commonly see is their popular G7 brand coffee sold all over the U.S. in Asian markets.

Their interior makes you think of a traditional cafe you’d see in Vietnam with plenty of seating to get some work done, catch up with friends, or enjoy the view. This location sells an assortment of Vietnamese coffee drinks and Vietnamese pastries. We felt they gave an authentic Vietnamese cafe experience from aesthetics to quality of drinks.

What surprised us is the lower ratings, but as we looked into it, it appeared to be from visitors that aren’t Vietnamese or not familiar with a Vietnamese cafe experience. Many referred to lack of service, but we didn’t have any problems during our visit. In Vietnam, we think we got worst service but that adds to the true Vietnamese experience if you ask us.

POV: you experience a once in a lifetime opportunity!

Peter woke us up at 3:00AM so we could make our way to catch the Artemis II launch 🚀 in Florida.

As we hit the road, we were surprised by how many people were making their way there with their cars fitting the theme with slogans like “Artemis or Bust”.

We made it early enough to grab parking and a nice spot on the lawn. Even Lexi got to join!

This was truly a memorable experience with all the fans waiting to see if this launch will actually happen. We sat through bursts of rain and hoped for clear skies. As 6:00PM approached. The skies cleared just in time and we had a great view.

Catch the crowd there in the our videos with their NASA shirts and even kids dressed up as astronauts. We met people from all over the world from places like Germany, Wisconsin, and on!

🆕 Spring Menu is Here! 🌸

One of our favorite restaurants just added some new seasonal items to their menu! If you haven’t been to Ecco, then you need to add this your must try list. Even if you go only for the fried goat cheese with honey. Because that’s literally our favorite starter dish that we ALWAYS order.

You really cannot go wrong with their menu. We enjoy that everything tastes fresh and in season. For the spring menu, you can expect to find new dishes like Grilled Gems, Tuna Tartare, Steelhead Trout, Broccolini, and Spring Risotto.

Don’t forget to leave room for dessert because they made sure to add three new items that will make you want to try them all. Why choose between Dark Chocolate Silk, Bruleed Lemon Tart, and Hearth Baked Bread Pudding when you can try all three!

Why 9292 Shabu Still Hits—Years After the Hype

There’s a reason spots like this stay busy year after year. It’s built for how people actually want to eat.

You control the experience, from light and veggie-forward to rich and protein-heavy, all in one sitting. And if you’re looking to save money, you can load up on the buffet instead of ordering the meats and seafood.

It’s also one of those rare places that works just as well for groups as it does for a casual weeknight meal. The recent updates, especially on the dessert side, show they’re still evolving with the times.

Duluth has no shortage of great food, but places like this are what keep people coming back.
