Being close to wealth, power, or opportunity does not mean it belongs to you. Managing a big budget at work, hanging around rich friends, or working in a high-status office can trick you into acting as if you have arrived. You are just carrying the bone. Build your own assets, earn your own capital, and make sure the meat you are eating actually comes from your own hunt.
