I'm consistently pushing myself inward. Introspection is important, but falling deep into it has been a major source of pain. Over the years I’ve found myself much more aware of who I am, my purpose, and where I’m headed. I refuse to live through another year where I’m seemingly content with not being okay all year long. I’m genuinely working towards a life filled with joy, growth, peace, and grace. It’s time we set our hearts and minds on catering to the light we need in our lives. With that being said, I’m so grateful to have made it to see 31, I was so scared of my thirties and that genuine feeling of being unprepared for this stage of life. I can see how that was reflected in a lot of the hardships I faced last year. I feel so blessed today, most importantly I’ve felt a joy I haven’t felt on my birthday in years. I’m genuinely ready for this year, I’m so glad to have such amazing people around me, and I’m most of all grateful for the opportunity to do what I love every day. Thank you so much to each and every one of you for being with me along the way, know that whether we speak often or not really at all that what you’ve added to my life is cherished by me.
