If you’re new here, hi! I’m Melanie- a Marietta, Georgia, photographer creating dreamy, emotive, imagery for families, seniors, mothers, artists, and beautifully unconventional humans.

My work is rooted in movement, emotion, nostalgia, storytelling, and real connection. I’m drawn to the in-between moments- the laughter, the softness, the chaos and tenderness, the quiet energy that makes your life feel like yours.

I specialize in lifestyle family photography, artistic maternity and motherhood sessions, natural senior portraits, creative branding for artists and musicians, cinematic vintage-inspired storytelling imagery.

My sessions are relaxed, guided naturally, and never about stiff, posing or perfection. Whether we’re documenting your family in the greenhouse, wandering through a field during golden hour, creating emotional maternity portraits or making weird, beautiful art together the goal is always the same- to create photographs that feel alive.

I’m thrilled to see this scene play out in real life- it’s lived in my head for so long! was stunning in this set! Thank you to our models for being so patient and so much fun! We are grateful for you Eliana and Adam.

I’ve hosted a styled shoot in my backyard for the past five years and each time I do it my creative cup starts to run over. I love collectively creating with other talented artists in my community. I hope everyone walked away feeling supported by other artists and filled with a renewed creative energy. Let’s do it again!

What do you do when the mom’s only request is the senior walking away while flipping two birds….you oblige of course! My classmate from flight attendant training in 1997 (yes I am that old) asked me to photograph her daughter and I knew we’d have fun! But when she asked for the birds, I had to run with it!

I love my coworkers. They’re simply the best part of my job- always. And their kids are always just as great as they are!

A collaboration of two artists in one beautiful place. A time to come together to push yourself as an artist, shoot in a way that suits no ones taste but your own- try new perspectives, use interesting light, feel the freedom to prompt the models in ways you wouldn't normally feel comfortable.

I’m so late to this party, but super honored nonetheless. An image of mine was published in Heartful Magazine and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I am obsessed with the type of work they publish and am so honored to be included in such a large talent pool. I bought the magazine and it’s STUNNING!
