Three years of airports, countdowns, phone calls, deployments, and sprinkle in some long distance.
Yesterday, it all led here.
Erin and Jonathan promised forever at Blackberry Ridge, surrounded by the people who had prayed for them, cheered them on, and carried them through every mile apart. There were tears before the ceremony even began. The kind that comes when a moment you’ve waited years for is finally here.
What we loved most about this day wasn’t the details, though every one was beautiful. It was the way these two held onto every moment. The quiet anticipation while getting ready. The emotion in their first look and vows (🥹). The joy that spilled out onto the dance floor. The understanding that this wasn’t just a wedding day, it was the beginning of their next adventure together.
In just a few short weeks, they’ll be packing up and heading to Alaska for Jonathan’s next station. But before the move, before the new home, before the next chapter, there was this day.
A day full of happy tears, grateful hearts, and a whole lot of love.
