Make your bed today. Not perfectly. Not Pinterest-worthy. Just make it.

I’ve heard for years about the book Make Your Bed by William H. McRaven, and I think it may be my next read. The idea is simple: start your day with one small accomplishment. Even if the rest of the day feels messy, you’ve already done one thing right. Mu friend and interior designer Anne H Feyereisen told me about this book.

I’ve learned that making your bed isn’t really about the bed. It’s about building a habit of showing up for yourself. Some days it will be neat and perfect. Other days it will look like this. Either way, it’s done.

Progress over perfection. Every single time. 💕

Monday Motivation 💪 CrossFit Dunwoody

This is a photo I took of one of my brother’s coaches at his CrossFit gym.

What I love about this image is that it captures something we don’t often see on social media—the work. Not the finish line. Not the trophy. Not the results. Just the effort.

Most success is built in moments like these: showing up when you’re tired, pushing through discomfort, and doing the work long before anyone notices the outcome.

No matter what goal you’re working toward this week, remember: consistency beats perfection every time.

This is me and my sweet little niece, Rosie. 💕 I prayed for so long to have a niece, and she is truly an answered prayer. Watching her grow has been one of life’s greatest gifts.

I can’t wait for the day she’s old enough for me to teach her cartwheels, tumbling, and maybe even a few back handsprings. Until then, I’ll just keep soaking up these precious cuddles and making memories with my favorite little girl. 💗✨
