Ten years. 🤍
I don’t even know how to put into words how proud I am of you and everything you’ve built. Getting to celebrate 10 years of The Cotton Gin last night was so incredibly special, but for me, it was also emotional looking around and thinking about just how far this place has come!
I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of The Cotton Gin since day one, through the renovations, the dust, the dreaming, the “figuring it out as we went” early days, and watching this old building slowly become something so beautiful. I’ve watched you pour your heart, your time, your creativity, and so much of yourself into making this place what it is today.
And now, ten years later, to stand inside those same walls and celebrate everything you’ve accomplished was just surreal.
I am so grateful that you’ve allowed me to be a small part of this story from the very beginning. The Cotton Gin holds so many memories for me, and it will always be so much more than just a venue. It’s been such a huge part of our lives, and getting to grow alongside it, and alongside you, has been such a gift!
I’m endlessly proud of you, my best friend. Of the businesswoman you are, the dream you brought to life, and the beautiful place you created that has become part of so many other people’s stories too. 10 years of The Cotton Gin, and I was lucky enough to have a front row seat to all of it.
I love you, and I couldn’t be prouder. Here’s to everything you’ve built and everything still to come.
