Once in a lifetime moment, getting to see the monks on day 66 of the .usa. Despite being packed to the brim (I got these shots on the ground shooting between legs!), it was so calm and powerful… and so quiet. I was proud to get to take my kids and hear the words of peace spoken by the monks and . And despite being packed like sardines the tone of the event was reverent and loving. That first picture is a officer handing the monks flowers. As they reminded us tonight, it is time for peace and for unity. And tonight it felt very possible.
