Work has been hectic the past couple months but I finally picked the camera back up last Sunday at church! It was a great service and time capturing fleeting moments so here’s a photo dump!

Day 151/365 – Prayers and blessings to the Busch family.

I still can’t believe that my father-in-law, my kids, and I were able to witness win in Atlanta earlier this year.

As I’ve seen the memorials and tributes being shared, one photo has stood out above all others—the iconic image of Kyle and Brexton embracing at the finish line. It kept feeling familiar, and then I realized why…we were there when that moment happened.

I went back through my photos from that day and discovered that I had captured that same precious moment from my own point of view.

These aren’t the most creative or technically impressive photos, but they are my favorite type of pictures. They captured a moment that was genuine, emotional, and now frozen in time forever. You can feel the love, pride, and joy in it. His iconic celebration, the embrace with his wife, and Kyle and Brexton climbing into the truck with the checkered flag.

I can’t imagine the pain, emotion, and emptiness the Busch family is experiencing right now. My prayers are for peace, comfort, strength, and love to surround them in the days ahead.
