✨Forever grateful to capture stories like this ✨

We met at the beautiful Auburn Courthouse, built in 1894 and still standing proud in the heart of our town. There’s something about these steps. So much history. I don’t know if you know this about me, but history is my all time favorite subject.

A place that’s filled with over a century of stories, change, and community. Long before this building was here, court was held in simple wooden structures during the Gold Rush days and now, it’s one of the few historic courthouses still standing strong in California.

And somehow, time and time again it’s the perfect backdrop.

This family brought such an effortless, grounded energy. Teenagers who are growing into themselves but still showing up, still laughing with their parents, still leaning in (even if it’s subtle). Those in between years are everything and they deserve to be remembered just like this.

I absolutely love the B Family. Being trusted to capture their story in a place that holds so much history is a gift in itself.

These two little girls adore their parents. Both daddy’s girls and mommy’s littles.

They especially love their mama…and you can feel it in every moment. The way they lean into her, the way she brushes hair from their faces, the quiet way she watches over them. Motherhood is a thousand tiny acts of love, and she carries it all with so much grace.

Sessions like this are why I love what I do. Freezing these fleeting seasons before the little hands grow bigger.

As a photographer, I believe motherhood deserves to be documented honestly.

This forest session was secretly planned by T as a surprise for A to celebrate their ten year anniversary—and it couldn’t have been more perfect. These photos were taken at their wedding venue making it even a more meaningful session. Proof that love only gets richer with time, laughter gets louder, and memories are worth documenting.

There’s something magical about a family session where everything just clicks — the colors, the mood, the laughter. The sky showed off with soft purples, the wardrobe was perfectly denim-cozy, and this mama? An absolute babe in every frame.

This sweet mom holds such a special place in my teacher heart. She’s well known in our community for being a fabulous teacher, and we share so many of the same wonderful families. It’s one of the many reminders of how incredible this profession truly is — how connected, supportive, and full of heart it can be.

🌻✨ Golden light, golden hour, and a family overflowing with joy.

This sunflower field felt extra magical as we celebrated the sweetest season of growth — inside and out.

Little J is absolutely glowing with excitement to become a big brother, and Baby H is already so loved. Watching this family soak in these last moments before they become four was such an honor.
