It has been exactly a year since I started photographing people other than my family and posting on this page 🥹 and on Saturday, my LLC turns 1️⃣ whole year's old 🧁✨

What was supposed to be my 'soft launch year' as I finished my last year of Grad school and grew clientele and learned the ins and outs of the professional artist industry, turned into a bonafide whole entire business at the speed of light 💫

I have held this art and calling significantly, but loosely, to let it take shape and evolve into a way that would continually be honoring to The Lord, and compatible with my other job and family-life balance 🙏🏼 every time I prayed to God to shut it down if I'm doing the wrong thing, He sent me more clients and encouragement out of 'nowhere' 🥲, so- I'm gonna keep building this brick by brick as long as that happens ♥️

Thank you Dearly to everyone who took a chance on me, wrote a review, shared, reposted, referred, prayed, booked, liked, loved, and poured into this dream! You are the sails of this ship! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

To all my unlikely and new and genuine photographer bestie friends and vendor pals! It has been sooo nice to get to know so many lovely people and businesses in the local community. This has honestly probably been my favorite part of this other than getting to glorify God with my business and meet such sweet clients, many of whom turned to genuine friends! You enrich my life more than you can know 💛

To my family and husband- I literally could not have done this in this way without y'all when I had to be away for work and also working the long hours at home editing galleries etc. while juggling all our kids and other life things! And if you didn't know- you can thank my husband for me doing this at all, for- he banded the family together to get me such an amazing first camera and lens that I have been able to capture really any type of session with ease and excellence; people ask him how I started the business and he says "I just got her the camera and she did all the rest!" 😆🥰😎

When I see glimpses of this full and fun extended family session, I can't help but see visible fruits of a family tree blooming from two people who took a chance on each other some years ago 😍🥰 to think- those of us with littles can see this type of impact from our own love in the years to come ♥️ more extended family sessions please! 🤗 we captured So much in a pretty short about of time! It's a double post day because I couldn't NOT post these on Mother's Day!! Possibly my faves ever AND they are my family 🥰 my beautiful cousin and her two stunningly beautiful children.

Devastatingly widowed last year and moved here from California to start over and be by us all here in GA/SC. She's in the works of starting a coffee shop here that is still in the concept phase, but if you feel so inclined, please follow along her journey at as she tries a big good thing to help the legacy for her children, our community, and to honor her beloved Kevin, may he be resting in Glory 🕊️

~Please be extra kind to single moms today, you never know the position that brought them to be in that place and I can tell you from previously lived experience it is 9/10 times not a pleasant path that got them there in any way shape or form. ❤️‍🩹 It costs nothing to be kind and learn someone's story before letting an opinion take root 📖✨

Happy Mother's Day to all of the amazing mamas out there doing the selfless and holy work and rearing the next generation in excellence, kindness, and grace. You are replaceable in every avenue of your live, except for your family, and most of the wonderful things you do go unseen, but God sees all and every seed you plant unto your children goes forth beyond you in a legacy of invaluable measure. Organic and genuine Motherhood is Kingdom work and abundant in the way of storing treasures up in Heaven.

And to the women who long to be mothers but it is not their time, my heart goes out to you, and I pray that in some future Mother's Day, you get to cry tears of happiness for the days once only dreamed about 🤍

And an endless tribute to our own good Mothers, from whose shoulders and hearts we began our own mother journeys from. Thank you, and bless you ✨

To my own children- you make life better in every single way that matters most, you teach me so much, you give me a next level strength, intellect, and drive, that can only be birthed from the endless love I have for you all 🥹 you are the very lifeblood of my heart ♥️
