Just one shot of some of the notes on the editing timeline for Escaping Paralysis. Next steps are plotting out our sound bed and filming our re-enactments and supporting Broll. Looking to wrap the project in September 2023.

Escaping Paralysis is about Rob Heitz, a recovered quadriplegic who broke his neck in a swimming accident, recovered, and swam from Alcatraz to San Francisco to raise awareness and funds to support those living with paralysis.

Im terrible at posting. After a crazy few months of non stop work and moving, I’m finally getting back on track with editing. Couple shoots coming up, testing out some new gear and getting ready to add the iPad into my editing work flow. Excited for the “slow season” to start pushing and promotion Motion66.

What’s next - I’m looking to start working with local businesses looking for ad spots. Will to work with a smaller budgets. So if you know someone or are looking for something for your business let me know!

The last year and a half Ive been working with filming his story leading up to this moment. Rob was a quadriplegic who was injured diving off a boat, and this Friday he will be swimming from Alcatraz prison to the coast in San Francisco about 1.5-2miles away. The goal is to raise funds and awareness for his non for profit to help support those who are paralyzed to pay for the rehabilitation and potential surgeries they need.
Working on this documentary has been one of the toughest things I’ve filmed, from interviews with close friends and family, medical professionals, Rob him self and his training. I absolutely cannot wait to film him crossing the finish line on Friday. My self and of .point.visuals are go to film something absolutely incredible.
