3! Just a few weeks after he was born the world shutdown. Navigating life w a newborn and a toddler certainly had its moments but we’re making up for the quiet times with lots of adventures.

You’re our little brute who pushes buttons but also gives the best hugs and snuggles. Our life is full of diggers, monster trucks, Handyman Hal and T Rex Ranch. You have no issues keeping up with your big brother and as much as you beat each other up you also love each other unconditionally.

Today was supposed to be your first day of preschool and instead you got a snow day, extra play time with dad, Red Robin for dinner and a build a bear to complete the day.

I feel like it was yesterday that we sat in the hospital in awe of this tiny baby that we created. ..and now we have a boy that makes us laugh, comes up with the wittiest stories and reactions and constantly reminds of us how amazing (and exhausting) it is to be your parents. A birthday filled with munchkins, rainbow cupcakes, a wiggle dance, legos, fire trucks, Friendly’s and so much more. Happy 5th Birthday, Auri!
